LED A Bulb

LED A19 and LED A21 bulbs are ideal replacement for existing indoor incandescent bulbs. Upgrading to LED is the best way to get energy-efficient lighting that will cost less money and produce less heat. A19 LED light bulbs come in warm white, neutral white, and cool white color temperatures, and can replace up to 100 watts incandescent fixtures. Choose from specific 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K LED A19 and A21 bulbs. The LED A bulb is the traditional shape that people associate with the light bulb. It is one of the most common shapes for household bulbs and is great because it is omni-directional, meaning it can spread light in all directions. LED A bulbs are dimmable, Energy Star approved, and have up to 5 years warranty.

A19 LED Bulb vs A21 LED Bulb

LED A bulbs are available in two shape options, A19 or A21. The difference between these two shapes is regarding the diameter of the bulb. The LED A19 bulb has a diameter of 2.4 inches while LED A21 bulbs have a diameter of 2.6 inches. Although this does not seem like a significant difference, A21 bulbs are slightly taller and may not be compatible to fit into fixtures as replacements for A19 LED bulbs unless the fixture is able to accommodate both sizes. Each LED A bulb can be installed in various fixtures such as ceiling fans or plug-in lamps.

Dimmable LED A19 and A21 Bulb

Most A style LED bulbs are now dimmable to accommodate dimmable lamps and fixtures. Dimmable A19 LED bulbs save more energy by reducing the power consumption and light output, thus increasing the bulb's rate life. LED bulbs are now also used as part of home control systems to control light output and give custom ambiance to different parts of the house. A19 and A21 dimmable LED lights can be used in kitchens, bedrooms, hallways, and basements. LED light bulbs are compatible with most single pole or 3-way dimmers

Omni-Directional LED A19 Bulb

Omni-directional LED light bulbs can cover a wider beam angle compared to standard bulbs, which results in a larger area being lit. A19 LED bulbs are ideal for omni-directional applications like table lamps, chandeliers and wall sconces to provide light in upward and downward directions. Omni-directional LED lamps provide light in an almost 360° beam angle in all directions, much better than directional A19 or A21 LED bulbs or regular flood or spot LED BR and LED PAR bulbs.
