American Lighting Minuet combines flexible LED lighting with a fully encased silicone diffuser, creating an evenly illuminated neon effect without a separate diffusion housing. Its compact 4×6 mm side-bend and 6×6 mm top-bend profiles bring neon linear light into narrow reveals and small-scale accent installations.

Choose the bend direction that suits your layout, then select 2700K, 3000K, or 4000K and a length of 3.28 ft, 6.56 ft, 9.84 ft, or 16.4 ft. Both profiles operate at 24V DC and 2.43W/ft, with a 120° beam angle and a 50,000-hour rated life.

Choose Your Profile: Side-Bend or Top-Bend

4×6 mm side-bend is the smaller profile, ideal when a compact neon outline is the priority and your layout requires side-bending. 6×6 mm top-bend suits layouts requiring top-bending and provides higher light output at every offered color temperature. Select the correct bend direction before ordering; the two profiles are not interchangeable for every curved layout. Maintain the specified 2.36 in (60 mm) bending radius and follow the installation guide.

Power, Dimming & Run Planning

Minuet requires a compatible 24V DC LED power supply. Calculate the connected load as length in feet × 2.43W, then select a supply with the manufacturer's required capacity allowance. A 16.4 ft run uses approximately 40W before that allowance. Keep each continuous run within 16.4 ft (5 m); a higher-wattage supply does not increase this run limit. Plan longer layouts as separately fed runs.

For dimming, pair the strip with a compatible dimmable driver and TRIAC, ELV, or CL control. The specified range is 5–100%; performance depends on the selected driver and dimmer. Follow their wiring instructions rather than assuming every dimmer connects in the same place.

Cutting, Mounting & Location Limits

Minuet can be cut anywhere for a tailored fit, but field cutting reduces the stated rating from IP67 to IP65. Follow the manufacturer's termination and sealing instructions. Profile-specific mounting channels and installation accessories are available; the silicone diffuser replaces a separate diffusion housing, not the need for suitable mounting support.

Although Minuet is cULus listed for wet locations, do not install it in inclement weather or extreme conditions, including −25°C (−13°F) and below. This installation restriction applies despite the separately listed operating-temperature range of −40°C to 55°C. Confirm site conditions before installation.

Connections & Accessories

The manufacturer specifies a 6 ft lead wire and 6 ft tail wire with each neon. Plan for a compatible 24V power supply, mounting components, and any required dimming or connection accessories; verify the selected SKU's package contents before ordering.
